mini fastrak deck height

I just received my new 17hp/42" mini fastrak. Having a little bumpy yard(old farm) I had a little scalping. After reading some of these forums and looking at my manual, I measured my deck height off garage floor. Having deck set at 3.5", I measured front and back of deck. Front measured 2.75"....back was 3.0"....blade was very close to 3.0". My question is.....deck height? When set to 3.5", is the front of deck to be 3.5" from floor and rear 3.75"? Or is the blade to be 3.5" from floor?

Measurements should be taken from the blade tip, when the blade is rotated to the front of the deck, or basically parallel with the length of the mower.
Take your measurement there and let me know what you have in the front and the back.
Also, there should be between 3/16 and 1/4 inch difference, the back measurement should be higher.
