why don't they put those anti-scal wheels on the corners of the deck, as to that is where they are needed.

and don't tell me....da.... because they will get bent.
They are able to make things unbreakable now days.

i had a guy tell me today that exmark doesn't even put a wheel on the right side on the 52" ?? deck. i mean come on

I'll take a guess at that. I have broken off 4 left scalp wheels this year. Naturally I try to get as close as possible to objects and that wheel is the first thing to come in contact is you get too close (if not protected as shown above). Although a new bolt is only $3, it's more frustrating than anything

so if you can't tell why don't they take them all off..... i mean they're really not needed anyway! at least not when you put them in the middle of the deck???????

Well, your spindle covers are painted black and the top of the foot holder is red. My spindle covers are red and the whole foot holder is black.

What one did you get? If you have the 23/52 it is an option. If you got anything bigger than that it comes standard.

How many hours on it now? How do you like it?

23hp 48" deck.I went with the 48 so I could still get through most of the gated yards.

Oh, its a small frame Z?

Is it like a Z450 or something like that? Maybe the colors are different then?

just cuts recently purchased the exact same mower. My spindle covers and foot well are the same as yours. My Toro dealer told me it was an upgrade but I think I liked the metal spindle covers better. Also the z-stand for that mower is an option but runs about $150 extra.

you'll find those black spindle covers are plastic?

Your mower is a 450 series by the looks, the 500 series have a lot of differences, going by what I've seen comparing my old z588e to a new 450 series in the shop. I believe the deck is also slighly different too.

I got 2 44'' z masters myself. Toro makes one fine machine. Both Toro and eXmark are very popular down here and give a picture perfect cut.
