Anyone wondering why i threw the jeep in the mix? Well i will tell my story in brief detail. I started in 2003 with the jeep and a 5x8 with some push mowers and couple of trimmers. In the middle of that season i got busy enough for the 36 and then in 2004 i got the 60 lazer z, mind you i was pulling a 14' single axle with that jeep. the end of last year going into october i bought the old f250 with snow plow and this year, last week i got the 05 2500 HD, two new 36", the 52", the two double axle 16' and the new weed eaters, blowers, push mowers, etc.... fun stuff...
I LOVE THIS BUSINESS...
Do you work solo? ;)
Looks great man. Talk about some serious upgrades in a short amount of time.

I just started my second crew about a month ago. That is why all the upgrades. I had been training the guys for awhile and decided to let them go on there own. They say making money is good, but making money in two places and the same time is better. I also just hired on a new guy to help with that crew, he starts tomorrow, 06-14-05... fun times in the VA

Huge mistake you made by mounting the trimmer rack on the street side instead of the curbside as that is an accident (esp with employees) just waiting to happen. You really need to move them to the curbside so all will be safe and not out in the street when getting and replacing the trimmers. Also after about the 6th time of hitting your chins on the trailer and getting tried of constantly stepping over the tongue to get a blower you'll move those too.

Organized for sure...roomy it's not. You need a lot bigger trailer but you do look very organized..

Nice, you have alot of equipment. How do you keep the blowers and trimmers so clean?

He's got a curb side gate/ramp, so I would assume there isn't enough room to put everything on that side.

I saw an LCO the other day that had 6 Turf Tracers on one trailer. 2 side-by-side, 3 deep. Must have been at least a 16 foot trailer, if not an 18. I believe he had a lazer up front too, so I'm thinking 18 footer. Not sure what size the WB's were. Probably 36''? 48'' would probably be too wide.
Nice set up though

Very nice. I like the pictures a lot. How much did the turf tracer run you?

Thanks for all the info... the mountings are the most convient due to the set up as stated i have the side gate. Anyway, the mowers and equipment are new so that is why they look so clean. And the Turf Tracer ran around 6000 with stripe kit...
hope to get some pics of work put on here soon.
Also, i am from Roanoke for those asking....

Interesting post about the trimmer racks. I mounted them on the driver's side so I'd have less of a blind spot on the passenger side. What about mounting them on the front of the trainer? Thats not so bad is it? I'll be moving mine.

I have my trimmer rack mounted on the front of mine. Did that so it would not be in the way of loading and unlaoding much. Have had no problems with it there. Have wanted to add some sort of tool box to put gas cans and such so the bed of the truck is not so clutered. I'll get to that one day.

Nah, that's not it. Look at the pic from that side there is plenty of room. This is a 16' footer and that side gate is 4' at the very most which leaves 12' more for the racks and I know cause I have a 18' with a side gate and more than enough curbside room still.
