Hey,
In my opinion i wouldnt buy a single cylinder engine larger then 13 hp, i have seen/fixed many 17`s on craftsman tractors that have broke the mounting bolts, too much linear force when the engine fires, you will be better off with a twin, northern sells a 16 hp twin and a 18 hp twin for about 150 bucks more then the single cyl models

These engines vibrate so bad that you'll be replacing mounting bolts about once a month.
I have a smaller one that seems like there is something inside it trying to get out!
