ornamental/tall grass

I was wondering if you can grow ornamental grasses (I forgot the names, but ones that get to be around 2-5ft tall) from seed and how you would go about obtaining the seeds. Or are they a spreading grass?

Here in missouri, we have a place called Missouri Wildflowers Nursery.
The web site www.mowildflowers.net They are from Missouri but
I imagine you can order them online or mabey there is a nursery where you live that has wildflowers...
