In northern IN we expect arrival of gypsy moth within a couple of years. Indiana has had a good trapping & reactive program for 35 years, but 4 or 5 NE counties are now infested.<p>My main concern is that our area is oak/hickory forest. Many developments have been carved out of wooded areas over last 50 yrs. I have 3 oaks over my house, and have clients with 10-15 oaks on their properties.<p>State will be introducing bt controls, but how can one best protect his oak trees if surrounding property owners are not attentive to problem?
