Echo BP403T compression isues

hello all,

i got a echo bp403 and it has some compression issues.it turns over.no idea
what caused it.if the top end is gone can it be fixed cheap? or how about
using another top end? like a 603 top end? has anyone mix mached parts
like this before? thanks.

remove the muffler, if you see scratches in the cylinder wall, and the piston, you need a new one if the cylinder is fine, but the piston is scratched up, new piston+rings will work. or if everything is fine, just new rings should do it.
