Hi there,
Does anyone suffer from numbness in the hands at night ? Two years ago it got so bad that all the fore arm became sore and the numbness went to both hands and the pain during day became so bad that i was no longer able to hold a line trimmer, and the pain removed into the chest was told the vibrations after using equipment for 15 yrs was the possiable cause. Now two half years later i can not use a mower or line trimmer although the problem no where as bad but it still there. My sugestion is if you start to get these syptoms get on in early and do something about it .And do those antivibration gloves work???

You probably have some pinched nerves in your back. You might try a chiropractor or spine specialist to try to correct the situation.

Vibration can do damage over long time periods to the body, try wearing leather gloves, they seem to help quite a bit, as do heated handles.

A lot of folks say it's carpal tunnel but, it could be a pinched nerve.
I had a whiplash from riding my 3 wheeler and it didn't affect me until I was reaching over my head one day.
A chiropractor can tell you if it's a pinched nerve. I get the numbness in my fingertips, along my arm, not all at once either.
I used to call them quackpractors until I didn't sleep for about a week.
The guy listened to me and told me I had a pinched nerve between 3-4th vertebre. Then he backed it up with x rays.
I don't go for that "adjustment" thing they do. It scares the hell out of me.
