Real sorry to here about your health problems.

What equipment will you have for sale and prices? There is forum on here to sell items. It would help if you could post pictures and give hours used, year bought, etc.

Well good luck to you, 2.5 years is a nice run, you gave it a really hard shot and I respect you for that.

One other thing: You can always get into a different kind of business, now that you know the basics.

Why not hire mexicans? That is kind of what DFWLandscaper did......

Just wondering how many accounts you had and if you would try to sell them...might as well go out of the biz and get as much as possible

im really sad now that this is the last week of my business. dont know what else to do but interested in driving 18 wheelers not cross country but work for a heavy equipment rental company like mustangcat and dilever the machines i have this certificate that i aquired 2.5 yrs ago and worked for a company called sundance const. wich laid me off in one month for a cheaper labor. they said well theres no more work for ya. dont know what he meant by that and it was the begininng of the year in 03! by the way the eXmark the last guy responded to me ill sell for 2000 comes with mulcher and bagger its the cheaper bagger but still works theres a small hole in one corner where grass will shoot out a little bit. i couldnt pm you for some reason it says i do not have suffient priviliges whatever it meant.

With the reduced work you said you have now, why not just hire 1 worker part time to take care of ALL the work for you? If it's lawn maintenance, it's not rocket science and can rather easily be taught if needed.
Then, use your time to market your business and rebuild it back up? Perhaps contact those customers you used to have and tell them your back?
If you would still enjoy being in the business, why not try this route instead of just quitting the business??
Good luck though with whatever you choose.

2 years is the average lifespan of an American business so don't feel bad... :waving:
