Tractor Implements, Category 0 or 1

Can someone please explain the difference between the categories that apply to tractor implements for a basic 3 point hitch setup?

There based on weight to be lifted and the hp of the attachments to be used. Cat 0 is of little use as thats what they use on lawn & garden tracs. Cat 1 is the most common found on most compact tracs used for landscaping. cat 2 & 3 are found on the larger farm tracs. Maybe someone else knows the weights in each cat. Hope this helps

Usually category 1 goes up to around 40-50 hp tractors.
