Grease fitting question...

Anybody know what size drill and tap to install a standard size grease fitting?

Both 1/8th" and 1/4" are considered standard size for grease fittings.

Tap varies depending on thread pitch.

1/8 (national pipe thread) which is 1/8 NPT-27
1/4-28 are the two SAE standard sizes for grease fittings. The also make metric fittings as well. You need to check the fitting you are using. If not 100% sure if you have the right size you could do a test on a piece of scrap metal first
