How much to mow acreage

My neighbor asked me to mow his 6 acres for him every week and Im not sure how much to charge him. Im using a Lazer Z 60" and it takes me 3 hours. I only have to trim and edge a small portion. Is $50 per hour a good amount?

75 an hour sounds good

I try to get 65 per hour for my mower time and around 35 an hour for my trimming and such.
If it is easy on the equipment less is okay.If it is a rough yard 75 sounds better. :)

WHAT IS THE GOING RATE FOR YOUR AREA ? That should be what you base what you charge on

Just add in your overhead and whatnot, and base the price off what YOU want to make, NOT what OTHER people tell you without knowing YOUR overhead. Just figure it all together and then add what you want to make and what your company wants to make. It might be 35 it might be 135.
