Help needed on John Deere mower

I have a JD LX279 that needs the clutch replaced. I have gotten the bolt out of the bottom of the clutch, but don't know how to pull off the clutch assembly. Anyone with any info would be greatly appreciated.

I have a JD LX279 that needs the clutch replaced. I have gotten the bolt out of the bottom of the clutch, but don't know how to pull off the clutch assembly. Anyone with any info would be greatly appreciated.


Spray some WD 40 up in the center of the clutch, Tap on the side with a hammer while prying down with a large screw driver or some sort of pry bar and if your lucky it will slide off. Put a light film of grease on the shaft before installing the new one to make it easer next time.
