Craftsman wiring problem

I have a craftsman Briggs Stratton 14.5 HP rider Model 287707. The only way it will start is if I clean/mess with the wiring plugs on the carb or ignition switch itself. It use to stay running, now it will run for about a minute then shut down? Is this just dirty wiring plugs or something else? Any help appreciated.

the plug can come loose on the fuel solenoid. but not all that common. you may want to check the connection all the way from the ignition switch to that carb sol. and make sure nothing is just loose.
