How do you resize a pic to be 100 by 100 pixels for an avatar?

Try irfanview. A member here told me about it, it's great. Do a Google search for it, it's free.

I hate this "It's gotta be extremely small thing". Now it says it has to be 100 by 100 pixels and has to be 9.8 kb. How do you change the bytes? Make it 75 by 75.
