I need your wise and much appreciated help in making a decision. A new Boomer Tc 33 will cost me about $12,000.00,while a used Ford 250 will cost me $6,500. I am also going to buy a TR3. My ? is which way should I go? How many horsepower does the Ford Have?

The h.p. of the truck will be determined by what motor it has in it. Do you have a trailer that can carry the Boomer and the rake ?
On the other hand, if you dont buy the tractor then you dont need a bigger truck.

If you're buying the truck to pull the tractor, I guess you know which needs to come first, although you could tow that tractor with a F150 as well.
But if you've already got a tow vehicle, buy the tractor. But I would buy a used low-hour machine and save a few $$ for the eventual truck. Those tractors are pretty reliable, more than a used truck usually is.

How much do they want for the TR3? I got the video and it looks pretty good, but I thought they were around $2500 and was quoted $3600, which just seems to be too much.
That Boomer looks like a real good machine, Will

Just my 2 cents. I have driven a 33 and I think it is underpowered for grading work. Just so you don't think I am color (green, orange, red,or blue) biased, i own a old Ford tractor and a few JD's. I have a 4400 that has so much more power (at 35 hp rated) than a 33 NH. The NH does have nicer ergonomics and is a good mower. I have used one to do bucket and grade work and did not like the power. Hope this helps. Probably not, as i knocked what you want. Sorry. Check out this site and see if you can get anymore info.
Good people like here, will give you great opinions on almost anything on compacts.

Let me clear things up. I am not talking about a Ford 250 truck. I am talking about a Ford 250 tractor. I am trying to get a comparison between the TC 33 and the Ford 250. Thanks in advance.
