In an effort to keep everything working smoothly on my Super Mini 24/52 I inadvertantly sprayed too much WD 40 on the throttle linkage which resulted in the linkage not being able to hold the lever at the highest rpm setting. Is there an adjustment to correct this or do I have to wait for the WD 40 to gradually wear off? Thanks in advance.

There is not a tension adjustment on that cable, you sprayed to much WD-40, now it will not stay in the detent, it is to slippery (plastic).
I would take some brake clean spray and use it to dillute the amount of WD-40 and you should be fine.

The brake cleaner removed the WD40 and the unit is working like a charm again, thanks Mowerconsultant.
