Best Low-End Tractor

What is the best all around low end tractor under $2000? I already have a GT5000 for my yard, but a neighbor of mine needs a new lawn mower and wants to know what is the best thing he can't buy for under 2K.

Tell him to get an older JD garden tractor. They can be found in that price range and are easy to work on and reliable if they have been in the least bit taken care of. And they will hold up much better than any of the box store machines.
