Hi again,
Thank you very much for your advice in my previous thread regarding which zero turn to buy. I finally got the go ahead to get "whatever your little heart desires" from the boss (wife). I settled on the Gravely PM34Z. Now that I won the battle to get the Gravely, Im getting cold feet about pulling the trigger on the $4900 (with tax etc).
Ill be mowing 2 lawns a week... one .5 acre and one .75 acre.
I want something that will LAST years and years (dont we all).
I want to save some time (as stated in previos thread).
I want to have fun, and finally
I DONT WANT A WALK BEHIND!
My question is.....am I crazy for wanting this much zero turn for my needs, should I get something like a JD GX 85 or some rear engine type tractor, regular tractor or are they pieces of cr@p (dont look like much of a good time either :p ).
My thinking is I would rather pay $5K to have something last 20 years than pay 2K and have it last 2 years. Maybe Im wrong, but thats why Im here asking.
Thanks again!
Bill
