... and then when he talks to the customer you get in trouble for perjury as well as a huge fine for applying unlicensed.

it won't fly, here is the catch: if you admit it, on the spot, you get a teeny weeny little fine, i think it's $800 here. BUT, if you lie, and they investigate you, and prove you are applying, it's $3,000 per day, PER APLICATION. in other words, they walk up to you on 8/2/05, you lie. they investigate you, they have the proof they need, by 8/10/05, that's 8 days, times $3,000= $24,000 for ONE APLICATION. if they catch you on 10 apps....

IF you don't OWN the property you are applying on you have to have a license to apply there. Dosn't matter if you are doing it for a fee, free or if you are paying the property owners money for you to be there.

There was a guy in my area that said he did it for free, but the state fined him anyway. Their response was that it is a form of advertising to make a property you service look nice. Get a license and be done with it.

Do it right, why lie. get your license man. I can't understand guys like you who think its ok to lie and who try to get others to do the same. Thumbs down...

Get a license........

I'd love to.

But FL "to my understanding" wants me to work for someone else (2 yrs?)before I can apply to take the test.

Anybody got a way around that?

Yes, but it will cost you. BTW it is 3 years not two.

Just hire me or some other CPO as your CPOIC and get the license in your name. After three years you can sit for the test and pass it. Then fire the former CPOIC. BTW I only train and do some sales work. At my age I don't apply any more.
