Starting a new customer tomorrow who has Thermal Blue sod.
This is Georgia mind you, so I have never dealt with Bluegrass before. Being exposed to this new turf is a good thing, but I really have no idea how it should be managed. Tall Fescue is very common here, so my assumption was to use that same program. Generally we fertilize with N in the Spring, Fall, and Winter but only apply iron/potassium during the Summer months. Cool season grasses are very fragile during our Summer heat.
You folks up North know everything about Bluegrass, so any advice would be helpful.
