I dont know of an effective way to get grass out of ground cover. Occasionally we'll use a small paint brush and "paint" the leaves of larger weeds but that would be way too tedious for lots of grass in groundcover.
Maybe someone will have a solution for this all too common issue

Poast or Fusilade are selective grass herbicides. May take a couple applications.

I have used ornamec to kill grass weeds in ground covers. The lable will tell you if yuor type of plants are able to be treated.

type in ornamec, etc...and you will have the label

Image won't kill the grasses. It will kill the weeds and may even take some nutsedge if you "catch it on the right hop".

But Image is slooooooooowwwwwwww. Too slow for most consumers to tolerate.
