Im looking at lesco bp sprayers.

Anybody got any comment on these?

Should I go w/ a diapragm pump or a piston pump?

(I am also looking at SOLO...whats the diff?)

Check out the SP sprayers at Northern Tool. I like them MUCH better than the Solo, no leaks (constant problem with the Solo), has clips on both the handle and the top to secure the nozzle when stored, overall better in my opinion.

Island, both the Lesco and Solo are the same. Parts are interchangable. As far as piston vs. diaphram, if using wettable powders or flowable formulations the piston cylinder will wear prematurely and leak. It's fixable but not fun. If using Round Up of any kind, be sure to rinse the tank daily. Round Up will eat the plunger on the piston and eat the diaphram on the other.

With either(Lesco or Solo)replacement parts should not be a problem.

I bought a 4 gallon Shindaiwa brand last year. No problems at all.
