got a 60"lesco Ztwo And a 10 year old Cub Commercial 48" hydro / I am thinking of getting a 6.2 for my Lesco Z for grass and leaves could it be easily mounted to my Cub with an appropriate bracket? THAT would be sweet! debating a collection system (peco or lesco) vs accelerator / leaning toward acceleratore (simplicity and cost) what do you think Pete?

If your Cub has a fabbed commercial deck (not a stamped sheet metal deck) you should be able to buy the bagger for the lesco and put it on the cub as well. Use GCLE or GCLEXL. Call me and I will send you an extra bracket.

the cub has a stamped deck - how much capacity does the extension add?

John is right on the capacity for the XL. The smaller regular size catcher is 4.15 for the catcher and 3.4 cu ft for the extender. The XL is 6.2 catcher cap., 4.8 for the extender. Multiply Cu Ft *.8 for conversion to bushels (6.2 Cu ft = 5 bushels). Grass weighs 7-12 lbs per cubic foot depending on moisture content. If you have a stamped deck cub, you would need a seperate catcher for it. I think the stamped deck has an opening about 17 inches long and 5.5 inches deep.

PS- I will be out of town until monday-

OK lesco wants 475 for the 6.2 - seems reasonable - but they don't have the leaf extension - at least not that i can find - i love lesco - they are great and i will get the thing there if i can convince myself to spend the money - but how much is the extension and i can get it at Accelerator dot com?

Pete, the accelerator works well and they have second to none customer service. However, If I can mulch instead of bagging that is what I do, but you cant always get by with that though. My JD with the gators and mulch kit will make leaves disappear into dust but you still have these old farts with SCBS that you have to bag to appease them. If you do get the accelerator I recommend the extension also, which I do not have at this time but would like one. Maybe Peter will appreciate my positve comments and give me a deal :) :)

I meant to add also that if you get the accelerator, use gators! It makes a big difference in how fast/well the accelerator fills up. On one yard I went from 6 dumpings to 2 going from med. high lifts to gators.

thanks fellas - this is the best website! - gonna try mulching with mulch kit and gators for the next couple of weeks and see how it goes - first year part time - 500 plus for as good a collection system as the accellerator seems to be though very reasonable is still a big chunk of change to me - gotta justify it financially -
