Blocking Plate for 54" SD

Could you put a plate over the discharge chute to sort of make it a mulcher? Just wondering if anyone has ever done this? If so how does it work out for you? Thanks for your advice. Mowman

Yes, you can. I had a plate made for my 36&quot; Woods at a local welding shop out of angle iron for $20.00. It worked great.
