Just wondering...
Lately the one's been bugging me is getting stung by yellow jackets MAN those jokers feel like they're injecting fire under your skin and I really hate how they sit there flapping around but won't leave and even after you shoo the stinging fool away it still flies and keeps coming back as if it's going to sting again. I swear the Yellow jacket is like no other bee, that is one aggressive sob.

Bee stings by far. I have about 15-20 mins to take my shot and or pills before I can't breath at all. After that I'm done if I can't get to the hospital. I have gotten stung 4 times this year and 2 at one time in different places. One of our employees was very worryed when he see me because i was white and could not stand up. I HATE BEES!!!!!!!!!

It's a toss up for me. Running over a log with the trackloader while not strapped in and getting catapulted into the roll bar at the forehead hairline.
Or
Your stumpgrinder blows it's oil filler cap 50 feet in the air then cuts off. You crank it over and notice a puffing of smoke out the filler tube. So you place your bare hand on the filler tube and cause the crankcase to develop enough compression to ignite the fuel vapors and blow your hand off the pipe while burning it. The piston was holed so the spark plug kept on sparking and all it needed was a little compression.
Worst thing is trying to rebuild a stumpgrinder with an injured hand.

Really bad week here. Fired employee on Monday. Wed was in the most sever pain I have ever experienced without some form of medication. (Kidney Stones) worked all day crying like a baby, went to ER that night and they told me Kidney stones.
Friday, clearing out over grown vines that were taking a tree over and was having a merry old time making good time and WAP! 6 freaking wasp bites on my ear and right side of my face. I am really glad no kids around then. *((&(%&*%&$&*&*&*( and then today I was pressure washing a driveway and must have blown out some nails from the recent roof job that was in flower beds and stepped on the ^*%&%&^ thing.
Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Kidney stones. I've passed 3 of them all on seperate occasions and it hurt so bad I puked the last time I had one. Also had a herniated and ruptured disk that wasn't too fun, ended up having surgery on that deal.
Got nailed by a bee a couple months ago, yeah it hurts, but not like a kidney stone. :blob2:

Oh no, a broken bone is one of the worst pains in the world hands down. But it's been some time since the last one for me, meanwhile I've been stung like 5 times in the past 4 weeks and it's really getting old, lol.
I think the worst part about a broken bone is how LONG it hurts, the bee sting cools off after a while and I still think the trimmer line on the leg hurts worse, too, but nothing beats a broken bone I don't think.
i mean, except maybe extensive 3rd degree burns or something, someone mentioned kidney stone made'm throw up, now that's pain!

Bee stings really don't bother me that much.. I guess I'm used to them..
The most annoying thing I would have to say is poison ivy.. Can never seem to get rid of it..
But pain.. I would say blood blisters (usually from dropping retaining wall blocks and logs onto my fingers.. Then getting cut by something... That usually hurts..
And... Getting poked in the eye from branches on low hanging trees..
I'm sure there are more.. ;)

On the subject of bee stings, I had an employee get stung 16 times at once this week. He sat out that yard and that got right back to work! What a trooper! I couldn't believe it. I would've been done for the day.

For the southern Guys..FIRE ANTS....I'll rais my hand ont he trailer hitch/shins battle. Never had a broken bone (unless you cound the crudhed bone in the tip of the pinky finger, I don't count it, but it did hurt.)
I was driving a skid loader with the lap belt only, the glass door closed and i was scooping up some snow. Well a manhole was sticking up about an inch and darned if it did not hit is square on.....the loader stoped dead and I pitched forward and smacked my face into the glass. I though I had broken my teeth. They were loose for about a couple days after the accident....Never had seen a bruised gum before...but no blood....

Don't take this the wrong way, but I did laugh at your expense....I have don similar stupid stuff. I was changing a broken light bulb in a chandelier, I was on an 8' step ladder. The light was switched in two locations. I must have flipped one of the switches down, got up ont he ladder when the phone rang. got off the ladder answerd the phone and I cou dlnot remember if I had flipped the switch, so I did. I reached into the broken bulb with a pair of non-insulated needlenose pliers Got shocked, jerked my hand back the pliers ened up stuck in the drywall and I lost my balance and fell. thank fully the ladder went the other way and only gouged up some drywall...
Breakers are easy, if its off, No juice....no worries....

I have broken my leg in 2 places I have broken my hand my finger a big toe 3 or 4 times I have 2 shoulders pulled out of sockets and I have 2 broken ankles which get crunchy sometimes. I have had a finger smashed where the nail just blew off I have had my head hit a windshield requiring 15 stitches on the top of my head with a 3 inch laceration. I have had a 2-inch laceration on my wrist. I have messed my back up so badly when I was 20 I could not stand up or walk.
Then you can add in eye injuries I have had 4 or 5 of them where a doc had to remove something I could not see from my eye. I have had a ladder hit me in the head at full extension so 16 foot got hit with the tip that left a bump larger then an egg. And I have had hedge trimmers bite me on my thigh. So in answer to your question what was the worse pain I have ever felt that’s easy it was 6-8 weeks ago wisdom tooth cavity got infected caused every tooth on that side of my mouth both upper and lower jaw to throb uncontrollable what was worse could not tell which tooth it was they all hurt. I could not sleep eat drink think and in the end work I was so happy to give the order yank it out. Everything else that has happened compared to that did not hurt at all. A very distant second is not having the love of my life see things the same way.

Broken Hand, Broken elbow, Broken Knee cap hurt like helll the first time but when I slipped in the garden and bent my leg backwards and re-broke it I screamed like a girl.
But the worst was when I was putting up the wings on my disk and slipped and the wing came down and bent me over backwards. Crushed three of my disks in my lower back. That happened twenty years ago and I'm still hurting to this day. I kept those X rays I have them right here in my desk. I need major surgery my vertebreas rub against each other. Now the funniest pain I have ever seen happened to my old boss and this was something you would have a hard time writing and making this up. We were doing a fall clean up had to be like 1992 I remember the Clinton bumper stick on the car in the drive and knew I did not like these people instantly. Anyways the yard had 3 large craters 6 feet deep and 20-40 feet across then on the left side it had a 8 foot embankment like 45 degrees real steep so we are spread out the lawn was an acre and Dan is using a giant vac push blower not certain any more what size was either a 8,9 or 11 hp what I do remember was the muffler was located in the back. So he’s walking back with the embankment behind him and loses his balance and falls and slides down the hill followed by the blower. So picture this crash he on his shoulders/back pinned his feet have some how went through the handles and are over the top of the engine and his azz is the only thing holding the blower from rolling further back only he’s not touching a friendly part oh no he has the muffler of this blower right on his butt and he’s twisting and yelling and he can not get free of this 150 pound weight on him and he’s yelling just like Yosemite Sam my buns are on fire my buns are fire LOL. There’s 3 of us and sadly for him none of us could stop laughing long enough to get up off the ground to go help him. He must have been pinned for the better part of minute I still laugh about that.

It is funny I noticed over time when I really hurt myself, the whole world goes on hold - Where fear stops time, pain stops you and whatever was going on.
I also forgot one that hurts like hell: Opening or otherwise venting a hot radiator, of course catching the antifreeze with most of your upper body - Believe it or not, I've done this one TWICE in my life, lol. The initial pain is excruciating but then after 5 or 10 minutes it's not so bad but the next day it comes around again especially if you're out in the heat.
Another one that doesn't really hurt that bad but I've been finding it VERY annoying of late is unknowingly brushing past a briar bush or other thorny material just shreds against your skin and sticks to your clothes, that stuff ...
Of course, nothing quite like closing your own car door and catching your fingers in THAT.

Yea I did the trailer hitch thing only stupider than you all.I unloaded the rocks I had in front at one job ,left the sand I had in back for the second job farther away. Was dropping the trailer there and leaving it and well ya know I flat dident EVEN think at all and that hitch let loose of that ball and the back of the trailer slammed down and the hitch ate my shin BIGTIME blood gushing,a dent in my shin about 2''
deep and I had a screamin meemie right there.Hurt for months.
Then I hit the insides of both calves with a pick axe one time swung it one way and wHamm pulled it back the otherway out of pure reaction and whammed the other leg.FUN bein a dummie.
BUT I have heard Kidney stones ARE the worst of the worst of pain.Oh slammed my dogs tail in the truck door the other day...poor guy!!

Ok so I'm not the only one here without insurance...
By the way, consider flying to Europe (like germany or switzerland) as it is 4-6 times CHEAPER to get medical care there. Say your operation costs 20 thousand dollars in the USA then you can spend a THOUSAND on a plane ticket to Europe (a thousand should get you business class) and get operated on for maybe 5 thousand dollars and with the ins-and-outs like getting a passport and the whole rigmarole might run you 7-8 thousand dollars but you still come out at LEAST 10 thousand ahead.

That one is not funny, I came real close to that thing a couple of times falling over the handlebars... The pain in this case is pretty rough but what got me was the FEAR going through my mind as I'm flying into a HOT running motor and spinning belts and spindles. That is how I cracked one or more ribs, and since I have no insurance I took it real easy for 3-4 months it hurt but apparently it all healed... I can't be too sure if the ribs were truly cracked but judging from the pain and by how long it took to go away (even 6-8 months later it would come around if I twisted wrong), I would say I did and got lucky it didn't break in such a way as to separate pieces of bone.

Read previous post, and try it with a 5-speed on a velke thou I've learned to slow down a lot more it still happens the other day I hit a tree stump and got real up-close to the bars and it's usually at this time I crush a few fingers between the T-bar and the Fixed bar which reminds me to ALWAYS adjust tension on the belt so there is at LEAST an inch of AIR between the two.

One of the stupidest and painful things I have done. I had a large charcoal grill with a door infront to light the coals. Sprayed the coals down with lighter fluid, Got distracted from a neighbor for a minute. Came back to light the grill, Bent down to light the coals through the little door. Forgot the Grill top was down. Booomb. Large ball of fire came out and lit me up. Burned off all my gotee, eyebrows, Forarms, fingers, and the hair sticking out from underneath my ball cap. Launched me about 10 feet in the air on the porch. I had to stick my arms and fingers in ice water for a couple hours, and wear bandages. My wife came running out as I was cussing the world and noticed I had no hair and my skin was as red as a tomato. Hurt like Hell for a couple days.

Yeah I really hate that about the T-bar because now you're pushing forward on the stuck mower so the wheel spins up a piece of turf, as if hitting the obstacle wasn't bad enough, now it leaves a bald spot, sometimes two! In my case, I don't walk into it because I ride the velke, but the effect is the same and it's just a pita.
But earlier this year I was running on a flat part and this embankment to the side of me and I hit the embankment with the side of the deck, I really wasn't thinking because it was just dirt... Well, it stopped that Wb from top speed to 0 on a dime, and over the handlebars I went. Still it was all so much routine, I just put my hand out and oh yes, right on that muffler.
You know when you burn yourself, the first couple of minutes are not too bad.
I RAN to the truck, swallowed about 1,600 mg's of Motrin with some water, and put burn ointment and a bandage on there, then a large swallow of coffee. The next half hour was agony, operating the mower with one-and-a-half a hand, after that the motrin finally kicked in.
The weedeating was ok, I'd burned my left hand and I can operate the trimmer with just my right if I have to, used the left for that extra little bit of backup control, not too bad.
I was glad it was the last yard of the day, the drive home was interesting but mostly pain free.

what about that sunburn that you don't even know you have until later. You know the kind, you start to blister and peel and all the good stuff. I'm not sure if it's pain but it's very unconfortable. I couldn't sleep for like a week, everytime I tried to lay on my back, I felt it.
I have to agree with the trailer ball to the shin. That will always cause a cuss word or two.

A couple of years back I was rushing to get a job done. I grabbed a pair of power hedge shears (Redmax HT2300's to be exact) and began shearing a juniper. Surrounding the juniper was river rock, the rock was wet from the constant drizzle of rain that day. I slipped ( but did not fall) on the rocks and the blades grabbed my jeans and tore flesh. Son-of-a-Monkey...that hurt!
I got a nice little ZZZ shaped scar above my knee.

worst memorable pain for me was tearing loose my left pectoral and seperating my left shoulder at the same time as a result of a drunken 4 wheeler accident. ever since that happened, second gear is plenty fast for me! also hardly ever drink anymore, and damn sure not when operating boats/4-wheelers/etc. there was also quite a bit of mental pain involved as it was my wife's birthday and i was gone hunting. stupid, stupid, stupid. she still brings it up when she's mad and that was better than 10 years ago.

You forgot to list the "walk into the ball hitch on truck when the trailer isn't attached".

I sliced my knee on some metal roofing. 30 stitches later I was all set. It didn't hurt when it happened or getting stitches, but the next day when I put some weight on it was the worst pain I have ever felt. Vikaden was the way to go for that. :dizzy:

Was working with my brother in law and dropped his tailgate to his truck. My truck has 8 inches of lift and his is stock. That means that his tailgate hits his trailer jack. OUCH... I got stitches through my fingernail to hold it together. Tip if the bone was broken off as well.

Don't you hate it when you're WB hits something and stops DEAD and you walk into the bar?
I was going full bore in 5th gear on my Velke and hit a tree root that I didn't see. I kept moving at full speed and hit my ribs onto the right handlebar, the palm of my left hand onto the left hand. Human nature says "don't let go of the handlebars" but I had the presence of mind to let go and let the kill switch work. Knocked the wind out of me, good thing the WB went away from the ravine. Ended up with nasty bruises on my hand and ribs. Now (3 weeks later) I can still feel my ribs moving against each other, as if some connective tissue was torn. I'm pretty sure it'll heal alright. It's starting to feel better now.

Don't you hate it when you're WB hits something and stops DEAD and you walk into the bar? That crap happens all to often to me.
That bar is at just the right height to hit me right where it counts. I do it at this one yard nearly every week.
One time I got a piece of grass or something in my eye. Long story short I ended up in the hosiptal, couldn't see for a couple of days out of my one eye. Turns out I was allergic to wahtever got in my eye. It itched like a SOB and it hurt bad. Was off work for a couple of days.
