Pavers have plenty of efflorescence and they were just wetted down hence "wierd appearance"

Before anyone asks........
**Fabric used underneath ...and not the cheap stuff.
**Edge restraint installed on base...not sand.
**10in + of base compacted in 2-3in. lifts.
**3/4in of concrete sand.
**Unilock sweep sand.
**That is 12 guage wire laying on firepit/tree well. Hubby / wife disagree on on usage. I'll let them figure it out.

Looks good. Are you going to be doing any softscaping there? I wish we could do the softscape on all of our hardscapes. It kind of sucks to go back to a job and see a homeowner special up against your hardscape.

"Homeowner Special" describes it perfectly.......Wont be touching this one...guy is doing his own lawn/plantings. Will post a pic one day...might be interesting.

Had to install a 6in trip step this time between the two levels......
The steps are 6.75in rise/12in run

Looks great, kootoo. Can you tell me how you built the stoop? I've never built one, and was planning on doing one just like that at my house. I have an idea in my head, but would like to know how you guys did it. Thanks! Mike
