Pavers have plenty of efflorescence and they were just wetted down hence "wierd appearance"

Before anyone asks........
**Fabric used underneath ...and not the cheap stuff.
**Edge restraint installed on base...not sand.
**10in + of base compacted in 2-3in. lifts.
**3/4in of concrete sand.
**Unilock sweep sand.
**That is 12 guage wire laying on firepit/tree well. Hubby / wife disagree on on usage. I'll let them figure it out.

Looks good. Are you going to be doing any softscaping there? I wish we could do the softscape on all of our hardscapes. It kind of sucks to go back to a job and see a homeowner special up against your hardscape.

"Homeowner Special" describes it perfectly.......Wont be touching this one...guy is doing his own lawn/plantings. Will post a pic one day...might be interesting.

Looks great, kootoo. Can you tell me how you built the stoop? I've never built one, and was planning on doing one just like that at my house. I have an idea in my head, but would like to know how you guys did it. Thanks! Mike
