View Full Version : Creating Flower beds

I am attempting to grow a flower bed around my driveway. My goal is to have a bed of flowers surround the outer edge of my driveway. The background will be grass. Can anyone suggest the best flowers to use? I am mainly interested in colorful perennials or flowers that would require little maintenance. Any input will be nice. Thanks in advance.

I would not know where to begin to help you. First I would ask what varraties do you have that are common in your metroplex, Is this bed to be in the shade, what other colors do you have in your landscape, and how big is the area ($$cost$$)

Look into Carpet roses. They rapidly grow, fill in well, & are very low maintenence. I know Homestead nurseries sells them, located in Davidsonville, not too far from you.
