I read in a post months ago about some sort of chemical that you can spray on the underside of your decks to keep the grass from sticking to it. What is the product called? Does anyone know?

I use Mo-Deck, it works really well. It builds up over time making it better. Just my 2 cents. Another one that was mentioned was Slip Plate, sold at most JD dealers. There was another but i can't think of it. Oh, slip plate wears off easily but the mo-deck builds up and stays on.

Now I have never once in 4 years worried about this problem, mainly because the underside of the deck is not something I go looking into very much since I can't see it, it doesn't bother me. Just lift and drop the front-end a few times to pop off the clumps, then load + go.

I usually do that too, but I really like the idea of being able to keep running without that action
