Hello

I am new to this section of lawnsite. I am currently 16 years old and have been landscaping since I was 12. When I started off all I had was my dad's 21" Honda Mower, A Homelite String Trimmer and a Push Broom. Now, I currently own the following equipment:
-Craftsman 21" Hi-Vac Mower w/ Swivel Wheels
-Redmax Trimmer
-Husqvarna 145 BT Backpack Blower
-Redmax EB7001 Blower
-Husqvarna 141 16" Chainsaw
-24" Electric Black and Decker Hedge Trimmer
-Mantis Tiller w/ Dethatcher and Aerator attachments
-Earthway Spreader
-Homelite Trimmer
- Yard Machines 5HP Walk Behind Blower
- Many Many Hand Tools

I must say, to get to where I was took A LOT of hard work. But the harder you work and the more you save.. the better equipment you get and the more jobs you will have. When I was 12 I did my own house and 1 other, Now 4 years later I find myself doing 8 accounts! :)

Hey man, welcome to lawnsite. Like you i started with a Honda 21" (is now my small yard and backyard mower), $60 curved shaft trimmer, and push broom. I started when i was eight with my house and a couple neighbors, now have 20 accounts and a really big mower!! Just one question, how does the dethatcher work on your mantis, i have been thinking of getting it for mine but don't know if it is worth it! Thanks,

if you get anymore equipment landscape89, youll have to get your own house to put it in. mcw will be great help for you and other youngsters new to the biz. mcw is smart and knows what it takes to suceed.
BTW... 6 yrs ago i had a push mower, 1 fs80, a broom, and 2 yards.
