I live in CT and have been cutting @ 3.25" and still have people whining about how burnt the lawn is. I try to explain that cutting it at 4" isnt gonna help it rain and that I am cutting at an ideal height. Whats your mow height with it being so dry? and should I go higher?

my standard height is 3.5 however we do have a few accounts where we are mowing as high as 4.5, i'd say raise your deck one notch but that's not really gonna help much until we get rain

I've had the deck at the highest notch for the last 2.5 months and the grass is still burning, unless the customers have an irrigation system all of my lawns are toasted. Nobody has complained yet,We haven't had any significant rain fall here all summer long
