View Full Version : How much N per 1,000 sq ft per application?

How much "N" do you guys reccomend on Fescue per 6 week Application? I've heard all different ammounts. Ive heard from 1/4 pound to 1 pound.

What kind of Fescue, tall or fine? Big difference in fert requirements. Fine Fescue should only get 1 to 2 pounds of N per 1000 sq. ft. per year while Tall Fescue should get 2 to 4 pounds per year. These are just average requirements. They will vary with culutral practices. Hope this helps!
