Not sure of the brand, Sprint is the company...only the first two pics were taken with the camera phone..the other two were taken with a digital camera. I have been cleaning up my computer and decided to post a few pictures of the lawns we do..

I am not a business owner. Just a guy with 2.5 acres of weeds and wheat with a little bit of grass in there somewhere. This is the kind of grass I would like to have. Would you mind telling me what I would need to do to do something like this? I posted a question about it in the weeds section, but didnt have a picture to fully describe what I wanted. This is exactly it! I am not very experienced, but am willing to put in the sweat required. I would like to start this next Spring.
If I kill everything with Dylox, how much would it take to do the job and how long does it take to act? Would I need to wait a long time until I can re-seed? What kind of grass is that anyway? Its georgous!
Oh! Does Dylox kill trees too? I have some seedlings that I would prefer not to lose.
Sorry for the amaturish questions, but I guess you have to start somewhere.

Sorry for the late reply...the grass in that picture is Plantation Fescue, cut at 3.75"..Spring would be a great time to get your lawn established, I hope you have a irrigation system because this type of grass is a little more difficult grow than others but once growing-it really takes off. I don't really know much about your area but I would assume it's a similar climate. Good luck, hopfully you get some rain after you put down your seed.

What I would do is come next spring I would use RoundUp to kill all the existing grass and weeds then go to a local rental center and rent a slice seeder, and slice seed the entire area you killed off. In ohio, the preffered grass is turf fescue (like cross fire II). Go to your local garden center, they should be able to help you pick out the seed.
