We have coverage now with Hartford. A one million umbrella policy that costs approximately 120.00 a month. This includes our equipment and shop. We would like to find a carrier with lower rates. Can anyone suggest any companies that we could check out?

Westfield Insurance I'm not sure about their prices on a mil but they were one of the lowest around here.

Try going to an insurance agent that deals with several insurance companies. You will usually get the best deals through people like that because of competition. Tell you current agent you are not completely satisfied with this particular company. When you are about to go some place else you'll see the priemiums start to come down.
