Price using bed edgers?

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas as to how much they charge and how they charge ie., by foot, for edging flower beds by using a bed edger?

Hey Muxx, Can't say for sure what everyone else charges, but we charge $1:00 per foot we edge, if they have us putting down the mulch also. If all they want is us to edge the bed for a one time deal we charge them $2.00 per foot.

This season it will be billed at $60/hr with a $30 minimum. Just watch out for tree roots and such when you are edgeing the beds.

What do these machines do when they hit tree roots? How big of roots can they cut through?
