Just wondering if you guys ever get home owners come up to you and offer you odd jobs, Then insult your skills.

I got an offer the other day to install Pickets on this wood fence that this guy was building, I think he got in over his head and wanted me to nail up the rest of the pickets for 10.00 and hour

He said that It would take me about 5 hrs.

I mean come on......

I felt insulted then I really didn't know how to reply.

Boling I just said no thanks

As a lawn & landscape contractor and the name on equipment and vehicals No I never been asked to do odd jobs outside of the relms of the business. I have had odd request for things that I did not agree with but the customers always right if there willing to pay for there request. No never had one insult my skills? Sound like your describing someone looking for a handyman not a lco/contractor
