I just got the new Lawn & Landscape Mag and noticed that Shindaiwa is running what they call a special on a T230XR Trimmer for $399.99. That seems a bit high for a T230. I not sure what the XR part is but I've seen the T230 priced from $243- 299 elsewhere. This thing must have a turbo on it or something. I didn't pay that much for my T27. Any ideas on why it's so much? I was thinking about a regular T230 or a Husky 325LX.

Wow, $400 for a T230. I pay less than that for my T270's. I can't see the XR being that much better than a plain T230. Maybe its another limited edition thats painted blue again.

Maybe it comes with an operator ;) Seriously I paid $230 for mine. So it must be something special. Lifetime supply of trimmer string?

I think XR means Xtra Roll as in you better bring an extra roll of cash. I wouldn't doubt there is a dealer somewhere around here asking $400 for a 230
