Overseeding & The Customer

How long should I tell the customer to stay off the lawn after overseeding?
I am using a slit seeder so I feel that they could be on the lawn immediately except for the bare spots that we are patching.

I've nver heard of having to stay off afteroverseeding, but the fert. company that i used to work for recommended not cutting for 3 days and then, it was ok. Hope this helps some
