tanaka engine

i have a tanaka 24cc (TWS-250) in my helicopter it just will not run right it was running great tell last week not it well not idle it runs for about 3 min`s and i think its getting hot and dieing ..where can i get a new engine??and is the 26cc the same size thing if it was i could get one of them if it would bolt in ...oh the heli is a hirobo eagle GS..

Hi,
Be sure to check the spark arrestor screen to make sure it is clean. Also, use Tanaka two-stroke oil at 50 to 1.

ok i just found out that it is a TC-244 can you tell me what the engine was in so i can get parts from hometown dealer...thay say they can order parts but they need to know what the engine was in like weed eater ???

According to Tanaka Japan, the high RPM (w/load) is 8,000.
