Veticut/aerate and verseed??

My clients want me to Veticut/aerate and verseed.
In the passed, i only did aerate and overseeding. Now they want verticut and i want to know if i can do all in one time deal (Veticut/aerate and verseed) or should i aerate it first, and waite two weeks to verticcut/ overseeding?

Areate, spread seed, then Verticut (slice). This is all done at the same stop if possible. The slicer will also, as an added bonus, break up most of your "dirt turds" and also it gets the seed worked into the soil a little for optimal ground contact. Having the seed fall in the areation holes is great too.

You can usually rent slicers at any rental place, or hunt around and find a good used one, or even new a good one is around $1,200.

Why not save a step and use a slit seeder.

Aerate first, then use the slit seeder.
