I know you guys get tired of newbe questions but here goes.When using a wb and your zero turn how do you keep the tire thats not moving from tearing up a small area of grass.Have been practicing with my new wb and noticied i was doing this. Thanks

dont let it stop moving...let the "pivot" tire spin backwards and the other forward youll turn faster and tighter and you wont tear up the grass

Thats really a jerk ass comment. All he wants is to know the answer to a simple question, no need to bash him. Answer is like posted above keep the tires spinning, reverse one wheel and send the other forward. Or stopping and doing the same will minimize turf tear even more.

You'd be surprised to know how many firefighters here don't. Some even spray weedkiller, spread fertilizer, and even lime without being certified.

It was advice. I could go into chemical storage, MSDS's, PPE and the rest of it if need be. Don't get me wrong here. Firefighters cutting grass on their days off are as common as old Floridians driving Crown Victorias at 45MPH in the fast lane with their left blinker on.
