I found a neat little book today at a Ace hardware store. It is a Pocket Reference book of everything! It is about 3"x5" and 3/4" thick, but it has everything in there like:

Density of moist air
Air tool CFM requirements
Air hose friction
Tire size -vs- load rating
Tire Manufactures codes
Wood moisture -vs- compressive strength
Insulation values
Strength of wood beam
Element tables
Computer references and ASCll codes
Copper wire specs
Anniversary names
Area codes
Airports
Morse code
Bolt torque specs
Currency exchange
Countless steel specs
Friction lost in pipe tables
Weights and properties of materials
Countless coversion charts
Horizontal pipe discharge

These are just a few examples, the tables are just endless.

Harbor Freight sells a pocket reference book for about $10. I've been thinking of ordering one. Maybe now I'll just go down to Ace Hardware and pick one up. How much was it? Is this the same? http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/taf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=35569

Pocket reference by Thomas J. Glover. Call 1-800-755-7672 (this is out of the 1st edition so don't know if the # is accurate anymore). I've had one for years. It's great! If you could commit everything in it to memory, you could take over the world.
