One thing, please turn off the CAPS lock. Next thing are you asking regarding spraying your lawn or a customers? If you are applying pesticides of any type to a customers lawn you must have a commercial applicators licencse. There are several herbicides that will do the job. Just let us know what this is for. We don't want you to get into trouble with the "MAN", the fines are pretty steep.

There are several good products that will control wild onions. I use Trimec Classic, Momentum also works well, so I've been told. Here is a link to a website that should help you out too.

Enough of the "you need a license" crap before the answer to every question. True, but enough already.
Answer to question is...if you don't know that by now you shouldn't be in this business.

Skookum, I'm having a great day, thanks!
I think people should learn about horticulture, turfgrass mgmt., etc, etc, etc. BEFORE they try to start a landscaping business.

Lawnboy11 never got a response to his QUESTION concerning PGR's on shrubs.
He also asked if anyone had used Pennmulch.
These sound like questions to me, if you have been in this business for a while you should know by now.
The man has made 5 posts and your treating him like a dog. Lighten up, your not here to run folks off are you? Attitudes like yours are not very conducive to sharing information in a positive fashion.
Have a good day!

Great response Homer!!! There is no way everyone knows everything about this business(and especially horiculture ) and if you think you do you are just ignorant! And if you do than what are you doing here on LS, the first time you saw Lawnsite you should have said "oh I already know everything" and not come back.....

Ok, I was being a *****. Use Super Trimec.
To cmcfalls, I'm sorry.
I still think that people in general (not the thread starter) really should try to learn about horticulture, etc. before trying to start a green industry business. Ome should also learn basic accounting and business. Do you disagree? Of course you don't have to know everything, but at least the basics. Why do you think that so many landscaping businesses fail? And also, no one answered my questions because now one knows (except a few) what I'm even talking about when I say PGR or Penn Mulch because most landscapers don't really have a clue. I'm also conflicted about sharing too much information. In some ways I think sharing trade info is good and in some ways it can be harmful.
Anyone coming to this site is obviously trying to learn something and therefore should not be criticized. For that I apologize. I do respect the opinions of the people posting on this site and should not have been so crabby.

This is the only way I have controlled wild onion (wild garlic) for many years. Super Trimec, Cool Power, or any ester would be best formulation. Do not promise customer immediate control, may take up to three years mainly because of vagaries of spring weather.
Watch for it in the fall on properties known to have it in the past. But do not waste time & chemical treating in fall, just use this to anticipate where you need to treat in spring.
Use same product and timing for control of star of Bethlehem in lawns. That will only come up in spring, and often you can get 2 apps on it because it hardier than wild onion.
