I have a chance to buy a 2002 60" exmark laser decent shape owned by a large landscape company (well taken care of) it has 2000 hrs. How much should i expect to spend?

I would guess $2000-$2500. Use ebay as a price check.

I wouldn't buy one with that many hours unless it's real cheap like say $2000,b/c your gonna have to replace/rebuild every part on that thing one by one as they break

I purchased one hustler for $2500 that was used that a school district traded and it has lasted me this season and no complaints. Ask the person you are buying it from if you can take it to your service tech and have it checked. I got a 90 day warranty with mine. So far so good.

I agree w/ this comment as well. I can't see this type of mower becoming a 40-hour a week machine... excellent back-up or part time mower though.
