An Obsersation

It looks to me that there are more members from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania than any other or state or province?

How can this be? There are many states that have a much greater population than PA.

Could this be do to that PA residents are more net savvy
therefor more intelligent vs. the rest of the country do to our Quaker based educational system?

I would like to think your right Lawrance. But where do you get you data from. The S.E. Pa luncheon was a big success.Maybe next year we will have more.
I only see a few new members on site from Pa. It seems to me, that there are a lot of members from the south east states.
Maybe as the site grows and there could be discussions or threads that are more geographic. This is a great site and is beneficial to all members.

Lawrence: I suspect all of us in PA are sitting waiting for the weather to break. From other threads, it sounds as if we were several hundred miles south, we could be out mowing. Those who are now spending their days doing useful work don't have time to browse this board. Soon, we will not have time either!

Maybe PA's tax-free time zone for PCs last Summer and a few weeks ago worked - more PCs in the hands of PA residents...

I think the COMMON in Commonwealth says it all about PA. By the way, if you were half as brilliant as you think you are, then maybe you could have spelled the word "observation" correctly.

Now that there gone from the commonwealth their former housing is occupied by younger people who are productive members of society, who are willing to pay non-depression era pricing for goods and services.

Does not work using Starband (two-way satellite), Direcpc (one way satellite + modem), Earthlink via modem, nor a local ISP via modem.

I don't think it is there...... must be another vapor site. :)

I frankly don't know why it is not working for it worked last week and I have made no changes.

Maybe my isp has a sniffer and they are blocking access to my machine.

I had to lower my security setting on my firewall and if I go any lower I will be exposing myself fully.

I will move it to one of those free banner suported sites.

Does any know of a good free site that I can move it to without much trouble? I have a Homestead site but the software sucks (locks up the machine). It is just a simple black and white page done in Word 97.

Facts:

Obsersation: one who is observing conversations.

Obsesationalist: Means a person who talks about observing a conversations or studies the works of a conversation. It\\'s in the dictionary!:-)

I observed this conversation, my Obsersation of this conversation is not many Obsevationalist know much here as they should, maybe if they observed a Dictionary first. Then they would know the difference between a observation or obsersation & if they educate enough like me\\'s they could then look like they know their suff when they pretend to be a obsersationalist. That\\'s a Fact Jack!

You guys really need to get you a dictionary if you going to try & look educate like the rest of us does!

BTW: I\\'ve seen the Stone List & I have been recently contacted by the Who\\'s who of Lawnsite, so he\\'s got the Best of the Best & does he really want any of the rest?????

All the "Quaker based", populous of PA. come down to Florida after they have judisciously vested there savings into IRA's and other investment entities over their productive earning years. At that point, I maintain their lawn/landscape and after haggling over the lowball amount they want to pay for superior service because they are "Retiree's" from PA., wish I was working in PA. where Mr. Stone is receiving profitable compensation maintaining sports fields. Without the hassle of RETIREE whining. LOL
