I had the idea of entering my mileage log book into quicken so I could print out a neater looking log book than the original hand written book. After I got started, I thought it might not be any good when tax time comes around. For those of you who track mileage; will a computer copy be a wise choice, or does Uncle Sam want the original log book for tax purposes or in the event of an audit?
