My redmax trimmer along with my mowers and backpack blower got scewed up in katrina and when I went back to see the damage the shed blew off ad water had supmerged everything. Well we came back to kenner outside of no before we went to mississippi. And I felt compression in the crank so I decide before throwing it out to work on it. It looked like crap but I took out the plug and sprayed wd40 and cleaned the plug. Then, I put gas in and cleaned the fliter. Well It started right up and ran great. My mowers took a little time with the carbs being screwed up. But everything runs and my dad is taking care of the biz while I'm up here. I'm looking forward to getting some type of biger mower than these stupid 21" mowers.

My equipment survived katrina! :p

Now to cut these HIGH lawns.

glad to hear that they survived.

if I were you, I would rent a Z for a day and do all your high lawns. be much easier than slaving it out with the 21"

Equipment submerged in fresh water is salvageable but equipment submerged in salt water isn't worth anything.
