Fertlizer in Ohio

Thinking of getting into this business as well. Most of
my calls so far our asking about it.

Would I need a license to fertilize a yard? Saying
using Scotts 5 step program?

If I need the license, how long does it take to get???

I want to fertlize with granular,and spot spray
for weeds with a backpack to start out.
