View Full Version : Truck Loader Box

Any in sight into how to build a good sturdy box to hook up to a debris loader on my trailer. The Box needs to be Removable, and this is a 22 foot trailer that I only want to use half of so I can haul my removal equipment on the back. I would appreciate if anyone has any ideas

If you want to blow leaves into the box, the material covering the box must be porous. My vacuum truck has a cover made of trampoline material. Its supported by a structure made with metal electrical conduit ( I think its 1 1/4" diameter). I would mount the vacuum box on the back of the trailer and put a curb side ramp on the front side of the trailer. I'd like to be able to back the trailer up to the pile, and I think it would be easier to unload.
Heres a pic of the inside of my vac truck.

I appreciate your time. This will give me some Ideas on this box. I have a porous tarp that is big enough to cove the box, but am going to need to support it like this. Thnks

Thanks for the comments.
The Black truck with the gooseneck trailer is the daily mower hauler. 2 "origional" Great Dane Surfers, a Scagg 48" WB. at least 3 RMZ8000 blowers, 3 trimmers,3-40" hedge clippers, pole clippers, pole chain saw. fuel cans,
The white crew cab is a back-up truck. In the Fall, we use it to haul the aerators (JD 4400 hst w/ 5' aerator & lawnair IV.) and seed & fertilizer.
Here's an interior pic of the gooseneck. I've repainted the interior recently, and the equipment really does get cleaned-up once in a while.
