Quackgrass in sodded lawns vs seeded

I will pose this question because I have never seen research on it. Without question I see more problems with quackgrass establishing and taking over in sodded lawns compared to seeded lawns. Assuming that the seed bed was free of existing quack I have to assume the quack can spread much easier through the thatchy sod. Have you any observations. I am talking about KBG sod.

No observations on this I guess. I will say that if you seed a lawn and sod a lawn on the same day. The sod lawn will look better for this first couple years, after that the seeded lawn will look better. Due to weeds,insects and disease.
